01
Privacy by design
The current version of Finavore stores the financial information you enter locally in this browser. Your dashboard can be built and used without creating an account, connecting a bank or using cloud storage.
Your information stays on this device.
In this version, Finavore keeps your financial workspace in the browser you are using.
02
What Finavore stores
The local application state can include the information required to build your financial dashboard and preserve your work between visits.
Profile
Name, country, currency, household information and dependents that you choose to enter.
Money
Cash, cash reserves and other money amounts used by the dashboard.
Income & expenses
Income sources, expense categories, amounts and related settings used for calculations.
Assets & liabilities
Assets, debts and other values used to calculate net worth.
Goals & future cash
Goals and expected future cash events that you add to the financial model.
Dashboard & history
Saved dashboard layout, settings and recorded history needed to keep your workspace consistent.
Changing your currency changes how amounts are displayed. Finavore does not automatically convert your existing values.
03
How local storage works
Your financial workspace is saved by the browser so that you can leave the page and return without repeating the setup. This local-first design is part of the current version of Finavore.
No account required
You do not need to create a Finavore account to use the current local application.
No cloud storage in this version
The current version does not use a Finavore cloud account to store your financial dashboard. A separate cloud version may be explored in the future.
No bank connection
Finavore does not require direct bank connections to calculate the dashboard. You enter the information used by the application yourself.
04
Backup and deletion
Backup
The dashboard provides a JSON backup option. The backup is intended to preserve the complete application state, including financial values, baselines, actuals, history, layout and settings.
Restore
A saved backup can be restored through the application's Restore My Data workflow.
Delete
The application includes a Delete All Local Data action. Deleting your local data removes the copy stored in that browser. A backup can be downloaded before deletion.

Finavore also does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, insurance or employment advice. Its calculations are based on information you enter, and actual outcomes may differ.
